If you've been following my blog (AND YOU HAVE), you may have noticed that I often add hilarious sidenotes in parentheses ( ), and even hilarious-er side-r notes in brackets [ ].
HOWEVER, sometimes, to truly get the point across, I need to add a smiley face after my comment. And usually, it is necessary to add one after the hilarious sidenotes. But this poses a problem:
(FUNNY!!!! :))
DO YOU SEE IT?!?!?!?
It's not as bad with the brackets:
[EVEN FUNNY-ER!!!! :)]
BUT I STILL DON'T LIKE IT.
Now, how do I solve this problem?
You can't put a space... it's just weird.
( :) ) = WEIRD
But it's even weirder without the space:
(:)) = WTF? This looks like an onlineicon for a trilobite.

Anyway, this poses a major problem for you, the reader, because how will you correctly interpret my inane ramblings when I can't correctly convey them?!!??!??!?!?
